Klamath Falls film director Skye Borgman leads new Unsolved Mysteries season

Borgman directs episode in new season launching Monday, Oct. 19

Klamath Falls-raised Skye Borgman’s latest project will be available to Netflix subscribers starting Monday, Oct. 19 when season two of “Unsolved Mysteries” premieres.

Borgman directed the fifth episode of the new season, titled “Lady of the Lake.” It is not Borgman’s first venture into the true crime and mystery genre, nor working with Netflix, as her documentary “Abducted in Plain Sight” earned rave reviews on the platform in 2019, which she followed up by directing an episode of the Netflix series “Trial By Media” profiling the story of infamous subway vigilante Bernhard Goetz in one episode of its inaugural season.

A Klamath Union High School graduate, Borgman works as a professor of film at USC in addition to running her own production company – Top Knot Films – and working on many documentary films as a director or cinematographer.

UNSOLVED MYSTERIES – Season 2 makes it premiere on Netflix on Monday, Oct. 19, 2020.
