SLR Video - Nikon D3100
#1
There was some talk about SLR cameras for possible future purchases. I recently used my friend's Nikon D3100 for a silent tester film with use of Kevin Macleod's music. We came up with this on the spot, but just to test it. Recorded in 1080p

or if that doesn't work, the link is: http://youtu.be/I1M9bk8EkdE

Ha. Nice.

The only thing I might have suggested would have been to crop the frame to 4:3 rather than compress it, so it wouldn't be distorted...unless that is what you were going for.

...and I am working on an idea for modifying the plastic LCD screen cover(s) to indicate various aspect ratio markings to easily frame up while filming.

I wasn't certain what youtube would do, because I've uploaded something before and it didn't do anything to it.

One other note, remember in order to use music under the Creative Commons license (which is what Kevin MacLeod is using), he must be attributed in the credits.
