The meeting will also include a final call for nominations for two vacant positions on the Klamath Film Board of Directors. Per Klamath Film bylaws, every year Klamath Film members may nominate individuals, to be voted on at the following month’s meeting, to serve a one-year term on the Board of Directors. Normally this vote is held in October, however due to COVID delays the vote will take place at the March meeting, leaving the two vacant seats as nominations for 10-month terms.

To nominate an individual for a board position, please email info@klamathfilm.org.

During the meeting members and the general public will be joined by Max Siemers for a casual and engaging dialogue about the film industry and filmmaking, how to get into the industry, and answer any questions from the audience. Siemers (IMDb link here) is a University of Oregon graduate with more than 20 film producer credits to his name, most notably for the “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” film series on Netflix.

The meeting will also include updates about upcoming events and film-related activities in the Klamath Basin.

Klamath Film Member Meetings are open to the public. Klamath Film asks that if people attend several meetings to consider becoming a member ($25/year). To become a member click here.

The February 2021 Klamath Film member meeting will take place online via GoToMeeting on Thursday, Feb. 4 from 6-8 p.m.
