The ninth annual Klamath Independent Film Festival will take place at the historic Ross Ragland Theater in Klamath Falls, Ore. Sept. 17-19, showcasing the best in independent filmmaking in the State of Oregon. Events will open with a street fair complete with food trucks, beer garden and games before the opening feature, 2010’s “Meek’s Cutoff” – a western shot in Oregon and directed by Kelly Reichardt (First Cow).

After an exhaustive multi-tiered process the final selections have been announced for the 2021 festival, where $5,000 in cash prizes will be distributed across six categories: Northern/Southern K-12 Student films, Northern/Southern Shorts, and Northern/Southern Features.
