At the 2020 Klamath Independent Film Festival an extraordinary feature-length puppet film received the award for BEST PICTURE, yet was not shown due to contractual issues…now two years later Klamath Falls will FINALLY see the extraordinary all-puppet buddy comedy/horror film “FRANK & ZED.”

A project seven years in the making by filmmaker Jesse Blanchard and his company Puppetcore, the film follows a Frankenstein monster (Frank) and zombie (Zed) as they rely on each other for survival while terrorizing the villagers. A grand homage to classic 30s/40s universal monster movies while also blending comedy (think “Young Frankenstein”) melded incredibly with puppets (think “The Dark Crystal“), the film is both a loving tribute to the classic horror genre and a hilarious spoof.

Presented in collaboration with Klamath Community College as part of KCC Comic Con (Friday, May 13), the film screening will be on Saturday, May 14 at 7 p.m., and will feature a Q&A and puppet demonstration by filmmaker Jesse Blanchard.

Tickets are $10 (or $5 with Klamath Film membership) and seating is limited.
