Join Us for the November Klamath Film Member Meeting with Special Guest Luke Zwanziger!

Klamath Film is excited to welcome writer/director Luke Zwanziger as the featured guest for our November Member Meeting on Thursday, November 21 from 6-8 p.m. at The Growler Guys in Klamath Falls (or join us online via Zoom). This event is free and open to the public!

Luke is a Portland-based filmmaker whose work was recently showcased at KIFF2024 with the films Vines and John Sunshine’s Lost Rock n Roll Tapes. His filmmaking journey began after he sold his car for a cinema camera during the 2008 recession, and he’s been crafting unique and thought-provoking stories ever since. With a background that includes projects for Adobe, Nike, and Apple, Luke’s scripts explore the absurdity and horror of human reactions in impossible situations. His award-winning film Vines has received numerous accolades, including Best Horror Short (Seattle Film Fest) and Best Practical Effects (Hollywood HorrorFest).

Beyond film, Luke has live-directed over 700 multicam comedy shows featuring talents like Amber Ruffin, Jaime Moyer, and Stephnie Weir, and he has taught and performed internationally. He brings a wealth of experience, from directing narrative shorts and an indie TV pilot to his work as a festival screener and script reader.

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with local filmmakers, get the latest updates from Klamath Film, and gain insights from a filmmaker who has spent years perfecting his craft and building a unique voice in indie cinema. Whether you’re a seasoned filmmaker or just starting out, Luke’s stories, advice, and experiences will inspire and entertain.

Don’t miss it! Join us in-person or on Zoom for this engaging evening with Luke Zwanziger.
