Klamath Film Seeks New Executive Director

Apply now to lead Klamath Falls’ nonprofit film organization

After a year of service, Executive Director Logan Baldwin is stepping down at the end of April to pursue new opportunities out of state. We are grateful for Logan’s leadership over the past year—during which Klamath Film continued to expand its community programs, grow membership, and host another successful Klamath Independent Film Festival (KIFF). We wish him and his family all the best in this next chapter.

With this change, Klamath Film is now accepting applications for a new Executive Director.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (Part-time, paid position)

The Executive Director oversees the day-to-day operations of Klamath Film—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting and promoting film culture in Southern Oregon. Duties include:

  • Grant writing and fundraising

  • Event planning and coordination (including the Klamath Independent Film Festival)

  • Community outreach and networking

  • Bookkeeping, budgeting, and reporting

  • Member engagement and communications

  • Promoting regional film opportunities and supporting local filmmakers

While experience in nonprofit work, filmmaking, or arts management is helpful, it is not required. Training and support will be provided by the Klamath Film Board of Directors. The Executive Director is considered a part-time position, with flexible hours that fluctuate based on the time of year. The role is grant-funded, with the potential for expanded hours and increased pay based on the success of fundraising and grants.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS (Volunteer positions)

Additionally, several board seats will be opening this year, including one-year at-large positions elected by the membership and standard three-year terms. If you are passionate about film, community arts, or nonprofit leadership, we encourage you to apply!

Board members help shape the vision and future of Klamath Film. No prior experience in film or nonprofit governance is required—just a desire to get involved. Meetings are held monthly, and board members may reside outside of Klamath County.

To apply: Email a resume and short statement of interest to info@klamathfilm.org

Help us continue building a thriving film culture in the Klamath Basin—whether on the board or as our next Executive Director. We look forward to hearing from you!
