Klamath Film monthly member meetings held on first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. via GoToMeeting
The next Klamath Film monthly member meeting will take place online via GoToMeeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, July 2. Just like with past meetings, you’ll have a chance to network and hear about upcoming projects and events being planned by Klamath Film. Despite the ongoing health crisis, you will still have a chance to interact with filmmakers, film fans, and industry professionals.
Our featured guest is a Klamath Falls-raised bicycle shop owner-turned-film producer, Bergen Swanson, who since the early 2000s has worked as a line producer and executive producer of major motion pictures. From humble beginnings in his dad’s business (The Yankee Peddler) on Altamont Drive to an internship in New York to working on some of the biggest films of the past decade, Bergen has worked on multiple Academy Award-winning films during his extensive career.
Bergen’s work includes films such as Wild, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, Precious, The Kids Are Alright, and more. Bring your questions and hear how somebody went from fixing bikes in Klamath Falls to working with Tom Hanks.
