Event will not be open to the public – streaming on Facebook
The 2020 Snowflake Festival – the largest annual Christmas celebration in the State of Oregon – carries on in subdued forms due to the COVID-19 pandemic, kicking off with a tree lighting ceremony on Monday, Nov. 30 at 7 p.m. live from Kamath Commons in Klamath Falls, Ore.
In partnership with the Snowflake Festival and the Klamath Falls Downtown Association, Klamath Film will present the official kickoff to the Snowflake Festival with a livestream presentation of festivities, available on the KFDA Facebook page at www.facebook.com/downtownkfalls.
The presentation will include the finish line for the annual Snowflake Mile fun run, speeches from Klamath Falls dignitaries, and the unveiling of this year’s Klamath Falls Christmas tree – relocated this year from Veterans Memorial Park to the Klamath Commons.
*Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tree lighting at Klamath Commons is not open to the public. The only way to participate is through the Facebook livestream.
