KIFF 2020 announces Made-in-Oregon films to be featured Following months of filmmaker submissions and careful review and debate by multiple judging panels, a total of 36 films between shorts and feature-length films have been selected to be shown at the eighth annual Klamath Independent Film Festival. Submissions were accepted from February through mid-June, welcoming films made in the State of Oregon or by Oregon filmmakers produced Jan. 1, 2019 or sooner. Limited capacity week-long film camp to teach filmmaking basics For teens or families interested in learning how to make films at home, a virtual film seminar is being conducted by Klamath Film in August intended for Southern Oregon residents. SOU student films to be aired on TV, livestreamed June 4 Southern Oregon University film students are sharing their year’s work with the annual SOU Student Film festival, airing live on RVTV Prime and streaming online on Thursday June 4, from 6-9 p.m. The festival not only showcases films created by current students, but also doubles as a celebration for graduating seniors in the Digital Cinema major program.
